Farm At Hand Software Solution for Managing Farm

What started as a solution for our co-founder's family's farm in Canada has now grown into a robust farm management tool for farmers everywhere as an integrated cloud-based farm management platform that allows farmers to manage their entire operations from seed to sale, anywhere, anytime.

Keller: “We actually got started — Farm At Hand was meant to be a solution for my family farm back in Saskatchewan. So myself and my co-founder, Himanshu Singh, we built it just for our farm and then we put it on the iTune’s App store so friends and neighbors of ours could actually use it as well. And within a couple of months we had 500 farms sign up for it. Then we started getting calls from the rest of industry about how agronomist might be able to use it with their customers or grain marketers. That is when we realized that we had a business on our hands and a real opportunity. That was three years ago and we having been building it ever since.”
Currently there are more than 20,000 farms using Farm At Hand. Keller shares the benefits of using the app.
Keller: “All of their record keeping is in one place — meaning they can have it on any smart phone that they are using and have it with them at anytime or on any computer when they actually get back to the house. Also It is completely free for farmers to use. We do allow them to have everyone on their farm accessing the app, collaborating and updating and tracking.”
