Bio S.I. Part 2

Bio S.I. Part 2

Bio S.I. Part 2. I’m Greg Martin with today’s Line On Agriculture.

After years and years of producing great crops your fields can get a bit tired. The nutrients and microorganisms in the soil get played out and that is where Bio S.I. comes in. Wayne Tucker with Bio S.I. Technology says that production is dependent on a number of things.

TUCKER: We really don’t talk about production because production is totally linked into the amount of fertilizer or as I call it, the groceries in the soil. It’s kind of like a ballet dancer or a football player, one is going to eat a lot more than the other. It depends on what your fertilization program is as to how you affect production. The microbes help your fertilizer and other chemicals be more efficient.

The Bio S.I. products can be applied in a couple of ways.

TUCKER: Well you can put it on through your irrigation system. You can surface spray it with a spray rig. All of our products are liquid and depending on the shape of your soil anywhere from a pint to a quart per acre and the we like for you to apply 4 to 6 ounces per month afterwards to keep the biological pressure up. One of things we’re seeing in sugar beets in Idaho is that we’re helping control some of the disease issues.

The product is all natural and Tucker says they have other essential products as well.

TUCKER: With winter coming on we also have a line of probiotics for cattle, horse and other animals that we just added. They might want to go to our website and check those out. And it’s all natural. That’s the thing that people really like about it.
