Cherry Field Day

Cherry Field Day

Cherry Field Days. I’m Greg Martin with today’s Fruit Grower Report.

It’s that time of year again just before things get really busy...when farmers all gather to look and access new ideas. When it comes to tree fruit you won’t want to miss the WSU-IAREC Cherry Field Day - June 4 or the OSU Pre-Harvest Orchard Tour - June 5. WSU’s field day gets underway at noon with a BBQ lunch and then a Roza Experimental Orchard Tour & Research Updates. At 3, participants will take an orchard tour at the Olsen Brothers Ranch. The following day Oregon State will have their Pre-Harvest Orchard Tour beginning at 8am. Field days always feature a great deal of information about the latest research and how it is really working out...and a chance for you to see it first hand. Make plans to attend either or both of these important cherry field days. For more information on the WSU event, contact Matt Whiting and for the OSU event contact Lynn Long. Be sure and visit our website as I’ll post the links to those two contact.

That’s today’s Fruit Grower Report. I’m Greg Martin on the Ag Information Network.
