Do Horse Supplements Work?

Hi I’m Susan Allen, a lot of people, and also many veterinarians will tell you vitamins and supplements can be a waste of money believing  good hay is all you need to keep a horse healthy but because I have seen amazing results in my own  horses I personally disagree, stay tuned for today’s Open Range. I have taken horses that have been mistreated and starved and rehabilitated them into equine athletes through proper nutrition that included the right supplements from a reputable source.  Professionals in both English and Western disciplines advocate the use supplements especially for leg health when competing at high levels.  The old horseman adage, no foot no horse, in this era has come to mean that  the animals joints, tendons and hooves must receive the proper nutrients and support to win Olympic medals derby’s and futurities.   Like with human health food there is no industry wide policing in place for horse supplements  meaning you’re on your own,  so it’s critical to buy from a reputable source. I have several over the years I have used that I would highly recommend and most recently I’ve registered to take Platinum Performance 90 day challenge with two of our rope horses,  both different ages, different body and personalities so that I can gage the benefits of a product that Lyle Lovett, Chris Cox, Brittany Pozzi,Tuf Cooper  and a host of other horse industry professionals have provided personal testimonials for. Will I get the results I want? See for yourself, you’re invited to follow each horse’s progress on Susan Allen’s Open Range.
