One movie critic said it keeps you fascinated, enthralled, elicits astonishment, even wonderment, and makes you grateful for the chance to meet someone remarkable1 Wow. I’m Susan Allen stay tuned to hear about why “Buck” is garnering such rave reviews. Buck as in "Buck Brannamen" is beloved in the horse industry for his clinics that teach people how to get along with their horses without breaking their spirit. Cindy Meehl actually a  friend of a friend of mine (get the connection) attended a few of Bucks venues (enough to be considered  a groupie)  and decided to make a documentary about the cowboy that has overcome such odds to become an icon in the horse industry.  Now I haven’t seen the film but it’s already deemed a  success especially after the sensation the documentary caused by winning the Audience Award at the Sundance Film Festival. And tonight the cowboy is scheduled to appear on the Late Show with David Lettermen. That will be interesting, especially if Buck shares a bit on how being terribly abused as a child has helped him teach people how to interact with their horses using the same traits that define the man, gentleness and humility. When I interviewed buck a few years back I still recall how humble he was. Lets hope celeberty doesn't change that. Thumbs up on this film, share your reviews on the Open Range Facebook page.
