Venue change for stockwater lawsuit; free pestidice disposal
Washington Ag Today September 7, 2009 Thurston County Judge Richard Hicks decided Friday to change the venue in the lawsuit against Easterday Ranches and the Department of Ecology involving the interpretation of Washington’s stockwatering exemption law. The case will be moved to Franklin County where the Easterday feedlot is located. There was no decision on motions to intervene in the case by the Washington Cattlemen’s Association or the Columbia-Snake River Irrigators Association.
