4th of July Pride
One of the greatest days in America history is celebrated tomorrow. You know what it is, but I'm going to put in my two cents worth. I'm Jeff Keane; and I'll be right back.
It is mind boggling to think how American history was made and world history was altered on July 4, 1776. The fact that a document was written declaring the small colonies in America free from British rule was epic enough seeing that Great Britain was the power of powers at the time, but our founding fathers put their names to the paper and stood firm in their commitment. This was no patty-cake, namby-pamby United Nations resolution of today, this was - here it is England and we mean it. The spirit of independence and resolve those signers of our Declaration of Independence demonstrated created the fiber and fabric that has served this great country well for over two hundred twenty years. So celebrate this Fourth of July by being Americans. Go to a baseball game, rodeo, stock car race or firework display. But don't go to just any event, take in a local event and support your American community. Remember we became a great nation through individuals creating progressive, productive change, not regressive, regulatory edicts. While you are celebrating take one moment to honor the courage of the authors of our Declaration of Independence and the magnificence of the United States of America. I'm Jeff Keane.
