Animal Activist Swine
Leave it to animal rights activists to use people’s fear of the swine flu as yet another way to promote their smear campaign against pork farmers. These zealots will stop at nothing to further their agenda. If that means spouting more falsehoods, their attitude is “so be it”. It is perfectly normal for the concerned public to ask questions regarding how swine flu is transmitted, “Can I get it from eating or handling pork products?” The problem comes when they listen to answers from somewhere other than a reliable health expert source. The Center for Disease Control and Prevention continues to state that the swine flu virus is not spread by food. You will not and cannot get it from eating pork products. Even the Secretary of Agriculture, Tom Vilsack, has stepped up to reiterate this fact in a statement on behalf of the Department of Agriculture. Sadly, animal rights activists will continue to fuel the flames of fear using the public’s lack of knowledge regarding the swine flu. Swine in this case is the contemptible vicious persons hiding behind animal rights.
