WAVE Seminar a big hit with Wine Industry Pt 2
The research-focused seminar is sponsored by the Washington Wine Commission and the Washington State University and was held at Prosser's Walter Clore Center last month ...
MELISSA HANSEN ... "And the purpose of WAVE is to be a one-day, research seminar, the whole day focused just on viticulture and enology research that the wine industry has been supporting. And it's a way to get that information out into the hands of the users, the growers and the winemakers."
The Wine Commission's Melissa Hansen says if you were unable to attend this year's WAVE, have no fear, they've got you covered ...
MELISSA HANSEN ... "We will also hold, two additional, we're calling them WAVE-X, and they will be in July in Woodinville and Walla Walla, and those are designed more for enology, more for the winemaking side, they'll be short condensed sessions, three speakers, and a more of a hands-on approach to how to deal with problems in the wine making arena."
Hansen says the WAVE-X meetings in Walla Walla and Woodinville will be held July 11th and 13th respectively.
