American Lamb's Grills Gone Wild Promotion

The American Lamb Board’s summer social media grilling campaign Grills Gone Wild “Brew, Ewes and BBQs” is underway. American Lamb Board’s Marketing Coordinator Tyler Winograd shares more about this year’s fun contest
Winograd: “We’re trying to hit on the theme of sun and summer and fun BBQs while comboing craft beers and lamb. We really want to hit on the versatile side of American lamb and show how you can have lamb that is not just a traditional roast at holiday celebration but rather you can pair it with burgers or loin chops or kabobs, gyros and sandwiches — fun everyday dishes that people can enjoy with beer.”
He says the response has been really positive.
Winograd: “The response has been really great. The goal of the website was to be an all inclusive landing page that could serve as a one-stop-shopping resource for all things lamb and beer. So we’ve got things on there like videos, recipes, infographics, local events with lamb. All sorts of different ways to get educated and learn more about how to grill lamb. Then the actual focus of the website is a blogger recipe contest. So we partnered with nine different bloggers to create their own delicious American Lamb grilling recipes paired with beers.”
Those visiting the website can vote on their favorite recipes and the blogger with the most votes will win a trip to New York City this fall.
