This is Matt Rice with the Ag Information Network and today’s Market Line Report for Monday. Feeders and Live Cattle hit a bit of a lull last Thursday but finished the week on in the Green. Let’s go to Greg Sanders with the USDA to hear the weekly cattle update.

Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for May closed the day Dn 3 ¾, to finish at 5-28 ½. May Corn was Up 3, to finish the day at 4-36 ¾. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for May were Dn 8 ¾, to settle at 5-66 ¼.

Portland prices for Club Wheat with 10 ½ % Protein was Unch, ranging from 5-60 to 5-80. Soft white wheat with 10 ½ % Protein prices for May were Unch, ranging 5-35 to 5-70. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein prices for May were Dn 8 ¼ to 8 ½, ranging from 6-29 ¾ to 6-49 ¼. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for May were Dn 8 ¾, ranging from 7-36 ½ to 7-41 ½.

Live Cattle for April were Up $.22 ½, closing at 183.60. May Feeder Cattle were Up $1.17 ½, to finish the day at 256.00. April Class III milk was Dn $.24, to settle at 16.01.
