This is Matt Rice with the Ag Information Network and today’s Market Line Report for Wednesday. The strength continues in the Beef market in all sectors as prices are up over 30% from the past 12 Months. Let’s go to Virginia McGathey with the CME Group to hear more.

Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for May closed the day Dn 3 ¼, to finish at 5-44 ¼. May Corn was Dn ½, to finish the day at 4-41 ¼. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for May were Dn 9 ¾, to settle at 5-87 ½.

Portland prices for Club Wheat with 10 ½ % Protein was Unch, ranging from 5-60 to 6-00. Soft white wheat with 10 ½ % Protein prices for May were Dn 5 to Unch, ranging 5-45 to 5-90. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein prices for May were Dn 9 ¾, ranging from 6-52 ½ to 6-67 ½. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for May were Dn 8 ½, ranging from 7-53 ½ to 7-58 ½.

Live Cattle for April were Up $1.67 ½, closing at 189.92 ½. April Feeder Cattle were Up $1.90, to finish the day at 258.60. April Class III milk was Up $.42, to settle at 16.19.
