This is Matt Rice with the Ag Information Network and today’s Market Line Report for Friday. Cash Cattle bring the heat once again, as prices continue to run at all time highs. Let’s go to Ted Seifried with the CME Group to hear more.

Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for May closed the day Dn 2 ½, to finish at 5-28 ½. May Corn was Up 9 ¼, to finish the day at 4-38. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for May were Up 18 ½, to settle at 5-74 ¾.

Portland prices for Club Wheat with 10 ½ % Protein was Dn 10 - Unch, ranging from 5-75 to 6-05. Soft white wheat with 10 ½ % Protein prices for May were Dn 10 to Unch, ranging 5-50 to 6-00. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein prices for May were Up 18 ½, ranging from 6-39 ¾ to 6-49 ¾. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for May were Up 9 ½, ranging from 7-44 ¾ to 7-49 ¾.

Live Cattle for April were Up $1.47 ½, closing at 188.72 ½. April Feeder Cattle were Up $.42 ½, to finish the day at 256.30. April Class III milk was Dn $.09, to settle at 15.91.
