**A new resource developed by the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association and CattleFax helps producers maximize profitability from their culling decisions.

**The most recent numbers show the Smokehouse Creek fire has burned more than 850,000 acres in the Texas Panhandle with 0% containment on the fire, the second largest in the state's history. reports, much of the burned land includes pastures where ranchers report finding dead livestock as well as their homes and barns on fire.
