Good friend Randy Moore takes his son and his nephew on a deer hunt. I took my son and my nephew hunting maybe ten, 12 years ago up in Hells Canyon, Idaho, and if anybody knows that area, really steep country I actually drew for a doe tag. So I did notice as we're walking down the dirt road, looked up on the side of this steep mountain. About two thirds of the way up the mountain, there's a little flat spot. And so I noticed that there were some doe's standing right there. And I told my son and nephew, I'm going to hike up this one. So I started hiking and it's really steep, as I mentioned, and I get about a few hundred yards up the side of this steep mountain. Now I'm about 25, 30ft from the little flat spot, but I'm still on the side of the mountain where it's steep. And so I thought, I'll stop and get my breath. When I stop to get my breath, I turn and look to the right, and there was the biggest bear I ever seen in my life, standing seven feet away from me. It was a fully grown male bruin bear. It actually looked kind of like a grizzly bear just a short period of time. I must have had 2000 thoughts go through my mind, and I would think maybe a minute and a half. I remember reading the Bible growing up, and it says that these animals are supposed to be afraid of you. If you don't act afraid, they'll just turn and go away. Speaker1: Yeah, sure. It'll just turn and go away. Let's find out what happened tomorrow.
