Dylan Davis, His father and brother are duck hunting in an area where a lot of mulies hang out. And while they're hammering a bunch of green heads, they hear rifle shots, they run up the bank of the river to see what's going on. And all of a sudden, a huge four pointer comes running by. David Sparks, Sportsman Spotlight. Here's what happens next. Speaker2: It goes into this sagebrush patch. We look in the sagebrush patch. The deer thought that it was hidden, but its antlers were just above the patch. It ended up being about a 2620 seven inch four point with big old guards. And that deer's just standing there. It's like 80 yards away and it pops out. And my brother, one shot hammers it, deer runs off, and we kind of look at each other like what just happened in a ten second window? We just went from duck hunting to deer hunting. And you shot a trophy buck. We're kind of in shock. I yelled out to my dad, I'm like, Dad, Bob just shot a buck. And we're all still confused what's going on? This just happened. And we get down, we start tracking where the buck ran. And I'm like, Dude, it went down towards the water and we don't see it. So we're looking around for a while. I don't see anything and I look out in the water like 40 yards out in the water. All you can see is about two inches of a tine. That deer had ran out into the water, died in the water and was just floating down. But all you could see was like two inches of its time. We celebrated, We walked out. My brother grabs this buck and drags it up to the shore and we're all looking at each other like, I can't believe you just shot a trophy Buck. This guy comes zigzagging down off this ridge top. He's like, You guys shot my buck. Speaker1: Well, that's a he said, he said, And we'll find out what happens tomorrow.
