In part two of this series featuring growth energy, we take a closer look at summer sales of E15 fuels with Chris Bliley Senior Vice President of Regulatory Affairs. He says that Growth Energy remains committed to tackling outdated regulations from over three decades ago restricting the sale of E15. During the summer, E15. is sold year-round in some major cities. But several states including New York, the eastern portion of Texas, and Vermont have opted out of allowing for the summer E15 Sales.

“We've pushed in a number of different ways. There's been legislation introduced in both the House and the Senate to provide for summer sale of E15. The past few congresses there's been a robust debate about that. And this year, additionally, several states because E15 has been so important in their states, they've pushed to opt out they submitted a letter to EPA to provide for Summer Sale, these eight states and EPA has proposed a rule to effect that to make that go into place. And they have proposed that starting for summer of 2024. We are waiting for EPA to finalize that rule so that people will know exactly what the rules of the road are. And that so Summer Sale will proceed in those eight states.”
