Kris Millgate

Tight Line Media founder Kris Millgate is an avid outdoor enthusiast. She has done it all as an outdoorsman and has put a huge emphasis on conservation and preservation. Kris has produced television shows and documentaries, written for newspapers and now has written a book entitled “My place among men”. I asked her about the book. “What has happened over the years is that people who follow my work and watch my stories in various outlets across the country start to ask questions about what it’s like to do my job. They want to know what it is like to go nose to nose with a grizzly bear, what it is like to sort fish or spawn fish, putting a band on a bald eagle, these are all things I do for my job. People want to know the story first but then they start but then they say, what’s it like to be you.”
