RD Trammel and his son Cory, went white tail hunting near Lake Charles, Louissianna. They set up in the woods a little ways apart and waited. After some time, RD heard shots coming from the direction where COREY was sitting. Then COREY yelled for his dad to come to his location. We pick up the story from there.

So I started slipping that way, and then he hollered once more, Daddy, come on. So I'm coming. By that time, I'm walking a little faster. Then I could see him and he hollered, Come on. So I took off and I started running and I got to him. He said, Shoot him. And I looked across the branch and there's this big buck trying to get up. I said, Well, you're shooting. He said, I don't have any more ammunition. He said, You have all of the ammunition in your pack. He said, I got the 270 and you got the 300. So I said, okay, here. So we swap backpacks. I give him the 270 and he ended up shooting the deer and he'd killed a deer. It couldn't run off. He was as happy as he could be. The buck turned out to be a 17 point Louisiana Wildlife and Fishery did a story that was one of the biggest bucks that had ever come out of the area. That's what he had hanging in his house. Speaker1: One other thing of note is the fact that our dad is the one who had picked the spot where they had gone hunting. The way I'm thinking, Corey owes his dad a big fat beer for all the help in the tips.
