Matthew Efird is VP of Double E Farms---his family operation and president of Efird Ag Enterprises a commercial farm management and custom harvesting company. He is a fifth-generation family farmer on the same Fresno county ground producing almonds walnuts and pistachios, as well as other crops. He noted that growers should get a credit for investing in groundwater recharge projects.
