Member of our Sportsman's Spotlight team. Kelly Allen recently purchased a Griffon puppy from dog trainer Kyle Edmondson. Training is the business I train dogs. I would consider that the business, the breeding and the puppy side of it is trying to pass on a good thing that I have. Kelly Allen says he absolutely adores his new puppy. Oh, that was a beautiful litter, great breeding. We have Hunt Hill Kennels in there which has the famous Mr. Brown in it. And then we have an Ox Lake dog in there, which comes from Kansas, which was part of the Kansas kennel over there. We have two really good lines that got to come together there. Really happy with that one. Tell me your technique and how long you've been doing it. You know, kind of tell me your story. Can't remember a time I didn't have dogs, had dogs all my life, trained all my life, really had no clue what I was doing until I met a guy named Frank Puccio who owned Hunt Hill Kennels. I met Frank five years ago, six years ago now. Went to work for him for two seasons, which are seven month season. He'll take in six dogs a month for seven months of the year. And I was his apprentice, his grunt, whatever you want to call me the kennel boy at the time. But that's where I truly learned how to train and take care of Griffons. Now I'm doing it for myself as much as I can. I do a lot of puppy introductions. Introduction to Birds Introduction to Guns. Introduction to Field Work. Do as much steady work as I can. A lot of sportsmen hunt just because they love the interaction between them and their dogs.
