This is Matt Rice with the Ag Information Network and today’s Market Line Report for Friday. Soybeans led the rally in the grain market, following 2 weeks in the trenches. Let’s go to Terry Roggensack with the CME Group to hear more.

Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for May closed the day Up 2 ¾, to finish at 7-12 ¾. May Corn was Dn 2, to finish the day at 6-33 ¾. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for May were Up 9 ¾, to settle at 8-26.

Portland prices for Club Wheat with 10 ½ % Protein was Unch – Up 05, ranging from 8-10 to 8-65. Soft white wheat with 10 ½ % Protein prices for May were Unch, ranging from 8-14 to 8-25. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein prices for May were Up 9 ¾, ranging from 9-66 to 9-91. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for April were Up 12 ¾, ranging from 9-61 ¼ to 9-71 ¼.

Live Cattle for April were Dn $1.02 ½, closing at 164.10. April Feeder Cattle were Unch, to finish the day at 193.85. March Class III milk was Dn $.04, to settle at 17.71.
