This is Matt Rice with the Ag Information Network and today’s Market Line Report for Tuesday. China continues to ban beef exports from Brazil following the BSE case last week. Let’s go to Terry Roggensack with the CME Group to hear more.

Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for May closed the day Dn 4 ½, to finish at 7-05 ½. May Corn was Dn 13 ¼, to finish the day at 6-30 ¼. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for May were Dn 4 ¼, to settle at 8-12 ¾.

Portland prices for Club Wheat with 10 ½ % Protein was Dn 35 - 20, ranging from 8-10 to 8-60. Soft white wheat with 10 ½ % Protein prices for April were Unch - Dn 50, ranging 8-14 to 8-20. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein prices for April were Dn 4 ¼, settling at 9-52 ¾. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for April were Dn 1 ¾, ranging from 9-51 ¾ to 9-61 ¾.

Live Cattle for April were Up $.50, closing at 165.47 ½. April Feeder Cattle were Up $.65 to finish the day at 194.22 ½. March Class III milk was Up $.17, to settle at 18.03.
