National Farm Safety and Health Week with AgriSafe

This comes as no surprise to most, but agriculture is known as one of the most dangerous industries in the U.S. It’s National Farm Safety and Health week, and Laura Siegel, the Health Communications Officer for AgriSafe Network, joins us to cover some informational opportunities happening this week.

“To promote this week, we are hosting 10 free webinars from the 19th through the 23rd. Each day has its own theme… Monday’s theme is tractor safety and rural roadway safety, Tuesday’s theme is overall farmers’ health, Wednesday’s theme is safety and health for youth in agriculture, Thursday is confined spaces with a focus on grain bin safety, and Fridays theme is safety and health for women in agriculture.”

Laura Siegel will join us again later this week to cover highlights from those webinars, and offer more information on how to keep you, your family, and your employees safe while providing our nation’s food supply.
