This is Matt Rice with the Ag Information Network and today’s Market Line Report for Thursday. The Cattle Market continues to climb as Feeder Cattle broke through to a new high yesterday. Let’s go to Virginia McGathey with the CME Group for more.

Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for Dec. closed the day Dn 22 ¼, to finish at 7-80 ½. Dec Corn was Up 1 ¾, to finish the day at 6-12. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for Dec. were Dn 20 ¼, to settle at 8-53.

Portland prices for Club Wheat with 10 ½ % Protein were Dn 30 to 40, ranging from 8-50 to 9-10. Soft white wheat with 10 ½ % Protein prices for Oct. were Dn 20-12, ranging from 8-42 to 8-90. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein prices for Oct. were Dn 20 ¼, ranging from 9-63 to 9-68. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for Oct. were Dn 18, ranging from 9-64 ¼ to 9-84 ¼.

Live Cattle for Oct. were Up $.17 ½, closing at 145.85. Sept. Feeder Cattle were Up $1.65 to finish the day at 187.12 ½. Sept. Class III milk was Dn $.20 to settle at 20.67.
