Idaho Beef Checkoff Program. Bill likely serves on the Idaho Beef Council as chairman and NCBA Federation director, as well as serving as co-chairman on the International Marketing Committee. He's got a pretty impressive resume. And I thought I'd ask him about Idaho's Beef Checkoff program, so producers of Cattle and Idaho pay into the beef checkoff each time an animal is sold. Those funds generated from the checkoff or they're invested in the beef industry, education, promotion and research, both in Idaho and on a national level. So as a chair for the Beef Council, I think it's really important, and we're working hard to explain to Idaho producers what our strategy is for the Idaho Checkoff dollars, so they'll understand how those programs get funded and how that comes back to benefit them on the ranch. The National Beef Long Range Plan was updated last year, and so is idle. Beef Council took it upon ourselves to update our long range plan as well. Our three priority items for the next five years our number one Pro Consumer Trust and Idaho beef production to promote and drive demand for Idaho beef and three drive growth and beef exports from the Pacific Northwest to benefit Idaho. Bill has a B.S. from University of Idaho and Animal Science and Agribusiness.
