This is Matt Rice with today’s Market Line Report for Wednesday. The Cattle Market cools off, however prices still holding strong matching 30 day highs. Let’s go to Terry Roggensack with the CME Group to learn more.

Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for March closed the day up 12, to finish at 7-70. March Corn was up 20 ¼, to close at 6-09 ½. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for March were up 12 ½, to settle at 8-04.

Portland prices for Club Wheat with 10 ½ % Protein was dn 30-Unch, ranging from 10-20 to 13-75. Soft white wheat with 10 ½ % Protein for March was dn 30-Unch, ranging from 10-20 to 11-25. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein for March were up 12 ½, ranging from 9-79 to 10-04. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for March were up 2 ¾, ranging from 10-79 ½ to 10-90 ½.

Live Cattle for Feb. were dn $1.10, closing at 137.82 ½. March Feeder cattle were dn $3.17 ½, to finish the day at 166.35. Feb. Class III milk was up $.75, to settle at 20.75.
