Purpose of FB

The American Farm Bureau Federation was founded in Chicago. Purpose of FB in 1919 during a gathering of a group of farmers from 30 different states. According to the group's statement drafted in 1920, its purpose "is to make the business of farming more profitable, and the community a better place to live."
