This is Matt Rice with today’s Market Line Report for Monday. Box beef prices found a bit of resistance to the finish the week, however beef exports up 29%. Let’s go to Larry Shover with the CME Group to hear more.

Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for Dec. closed the day up 6 to finish at 7-23 ¾. Dec. Corn was dn 2 ½, to close at 5-34 ½. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for Dec. were dn ¼, to settle at 7-19 ¾.

Portland prices for Club Wheat with 10 ½ % Protein were Unch, ranging from 10-50 to 14-00. Soft white wheat with 10 ½ % Protein for Oct. were Unch, ranging from 10-50 to 11-50. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein for Oct. were dn ¼, ranging from 8-69 ¾ to 8-94 ¾. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for Oct. were up 4 ½, ranging from 10-51 to 10-61.

Live Cattle for Dec. were dn $.47 ½, closing at 128.15. Nov. Feeder cattle were up $.50, to finish the day at 157.35. Oct. Class III milk was up $.03 to settle at 17.30.
