This is Matt Rice with today’s Market Line Report for Wednesday. Soybeans saw good fundamentals to push the market higher but outside factors had other ideas. Let’s go to Terry Roggensack with the CME Group to hear more.

Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for Dec. closed the day dn 26 ½, to finish at 7-48 ½. Dec. Corn was dn 5 ¼, to close at 5-63 ½. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for Sept. were dn 19 ¾, to settle at 7-16 ¾.

Portland prices for Club Wheat with 10 ½ % Protein was up 40 to 20, ranging from 10-00 to 12-00. Soft white wheat with 10 ½ % Protein for Oct. was Unch up to 25, ranging from 9-80 to 10-29. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein for Oct. were dn 20, ranging from 8-54 ¼ to 8-89 ¼. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for Oct. was dn 19 ½, ranging from 10-37 ½ to 10-52 ½.

Live Cattle for Oct. were dn $1.00, closing at 128.12 ½. Sept. Feeder cattle were dn $1.07 ½, to finish the day at 160.92 ½. Sept. Class III milk was dn $.29, to settle at 17.31.
