This is Matt Rice with today’s Market Line Report for Monday. Will the Corn market see record yield’s this year? Terry Roggensack with the CME Group explains how record yields could affect the market.

Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for Sept. closed the day up 20 ½, to finish at 692 ½. Dec. Corn was dn 4 ¼, to close at 552. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for Sept. were up 11 ¼, to settle at 651 ½.

Portland prices for Club Wheat with 10 ½ % Protein was Unch, ranging from 8-00 to 8-50. Soft white wheat with Ordinary Protein for Sept. was Unch, ranging from 7-70 to 8-00. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein for Sept. were up 11 ¼, ranging from 7-61 ½ to 7-86 ½. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for Sept. were up 23 ¼, ranging from 10-17 ¼ to 10-32 ¼.

Live Cattle for Aug were dn $.95, closing at 120.17 ½. Aug Feeder cattle were dn $1.75, to finish the day at 155.62 ½. Aug. Class III milk was dn $.19, to settle at 16.79.
