This is Matt Rice with today’s Market Line Report for Friday. After yesterday’s USDA Report, grains find themselves sharply lower across the board. Let’s go to Terry Roggensack with the CME Group to find out why.

Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for July closed the day dn 28 ¼, to finish at 701 ½. July Corn was dn 40, to close at 674 ¾. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for July were dn 33, to settle at 657 ¾.

Portland prices for Club Wheat with Ordinary Protein were Unch, Ranging from 7-05 to 7-90. Soft white wheat of Ordinary Protein for July was Unch, ranging from 6-70 to 7-90. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein, for June were dn 33, ranging from 7-72 ¾ to 7-77 ¾. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for June were dn 24 ¼, ranging from 8-46 ¼, to 8-61 ¼.

Live Cattle for June were dn $3.00, closing at 115.60. Aug Feeder cattle were dn $.02 ½, to finish the day at 150.50. June Class III milk was dn $.02, to settle at 19.62.
