NICK Webster called me, wanting some information about the Lunkerhunt series of fishing lures.. He had an idea that he thought would improve them. I told him I had nothing to do with Lunkerhunt but I wanted to hear his story. Turns out he patented his own Lure.

I've got the lure that I just had patented last year, and it's kind of hard to get a patent on a fishing lure because they've made everything you can possibly think of. The lure that I come up with and design is called the dabomb.com. What I did is I took a Lunker blade and made its own attachment on a steel wire leadereader. Shockproof wire leader with a clip on one side and a solid eye on the other where you can put whatever kind of bait you want behind, a frog, a swimbait, a spider, a dragonfly. And it looks like it's chasing something on top of the water. First time I ever product tested it myself, it was in the middle of December. I made three casts with it and had a fish come up and eat it. I had a swim bait behind it, the weightless swim bait, when they first come out, and ate it in first five casts. I was like, yep, I'm I have something here now. We're throwing frogs behind it. I had to make nine different styles of the same blade combination. A couple of them had two blades on them. Some were bigger, some of them were four blade, some were three blades. It just depends on what your fishing. If you’re fishing wide open water, you can throw a four bladed bait and you won't get tangled up. If you're fishing grass, you throw a 2 bladed bait and it won't get tangled up. And what are you going after with your lure? Large and smallmouth bass. He told me he sold about 8000 of them at around twenty bucks apiece.
