This is Matt Rice with today’s Market Line Report for Friday. Corn continues to be a driver in the grain market, as commodities follow corns downtrend. Let’s go to Scott Shellady with the CME Group to hear more.

Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for May closed the day dn 5, to finish at 651. May Corn was dn 2 ¾ to close at 532 ½. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for May were dn 5, to settle at 621.

Portland prices for Ordinary Club Wheat were Unch- up 25, ranging from 7-40 to 8-00. Soft white wheat of Ordinary Protein for May was Unch – up 5, ranging from 7-30 to 7-65. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein, for May were dn 5-15, ranging from 7-41 to 7-51. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for June were up ¾, ranging from 7-59 ¾ to 7-74 ¾.

Live Cattle for April were dn $.85, closing at 118.55. April Feeder cattle were dn $2.32 ½, to finish the day at 138.97 ½. April Class III milk was dn $.25, at 17.69.
