Cotton Prices on the Rise

Growing up in the panhandle of Florida, the only real snow I ever saw was Sothern snow, aka Cotton. the crop is popular along the Southeast.

In good news pertaining to cotton crops, the USDA has raised its forecasted price for the crop. Here is and WAOB Chair Mark Jekanowski has this comment.

As the USDA Weekly Cotton Market Review report stated, quote: "

"The base quality of cotton markets averaged 76.52

cents per pound for the week ending Thursday, January 14, 2021. This is the highest weekly average since week ending September 13, 2018 when it was 78.98 cents."
