This is Matt Rice with today’s Market Line Report for Wednesday. Cash prices for Live Cattle finished slightly stronger, the new vaccine seems to be driving market. Let’s check go to Virginia McGathey with the CME Group to hear more.

Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for Dec. closed the day up 4 ½, to finish at 598. Dec. Corn up 5 ¾, to close at 416 ¼. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for March. were up 6 ¼, to settle at 566 ¾.

Portland prices for Ordinary Club Wheat were Unch, ranging from 6-10 to 6-45. Portland Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein, for Jan. were up 6 ¼, ranging from 7-11 ¾ to 7-21 ¾. Soft white wheat of Ordinary Protein for Jan. ended the day Unch, ranging from 6-15 to 6-28. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for Jan. were Unch, ranging from 6-89 ¾ to 7-04 ¾.

Live Cattle for Dec. were up $.50, closing at 110.42 ½. Jan. Feeder cattle were up $.05, to finish the day at 137.92 ½. Dec. Class III milk was dn $.97, at 16.74.
