This is Matt Rice with today’s Market Line Report for Monday. Feeder cattle bounced off the bottom and finished the week strong, closing higher for the 5th day in a row. Let’s go to Virginia McGathey with the CME Group to hear more.

Chicago Wheat prices for Dec. closed the day dn 5 ¼, to finish at 598 ½. Dec. Corn Unch, to close at 398 ½. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for Dec. were dn ¾, to settle at 541 ½.

Portland prices for Club Wheat were Unch, ranging from 6-00 to 6-20. Portland Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein, for Jan. were dn 1 ¼, ranging from 6-92 ¾ to 6-97 ¾. Soft white wheat of Ordinary Protein for Jan. ended the day Unch, ranging from 5-90 to 6-10. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for Jan. were up 1, ranging from 6-85 ¼ to 7-00 ¼.

Live Cattle for Dec. were up $.32 ½, closing at 108.30. Jan. Feeder cattle were up $2.77 ½, to finish the day at 134.12 ½. Nov. Class III milk was up $.62, at 23.90.
