This is Matt Rice with today’s Market Line Report for Thursday. Cattle seem to be making their way off the bottom of the market as Feeders close higher 3 days in a row now. Let’s go to Virginia McGathey with the CME Group as she shares more.

Chicago Wheat prices for Dec. closed the day dn 7, to finish at 608 ¾. Dec. Corn dn 14 ½, to close at 401 ½. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for Dec. were dn 6, to settle at 543 ¼.

Portland prices for Club Wheat were dn 2 - Unch, ranging from 6-00 to 6-20. Portland Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein, for Jan. were dn 6 ¼, ranging from 6-95 to 7-00. Soft white wheat of Ordinary Protein for Jan. ended the day Unch – dn 15, ranging from 5-90 to 6-10. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for Jan. were dn 13 ¾ - 8 ¾, ranging from 6-84 ¾ to 6-99 ¾.

Live Cattle for Dec. were up $.62 ½, closing at 104.67 ½. Jan. Feeder cattle were up $1.52 ½, to finish the day at 129.95. Nov. Class III milk was up $.56, at 22.93.
