This is Matt Rice with today’s Market Line Report for Monday. More liquidation in the cattle market as Live and Feeder cattle grasping to stay above 6 month lows. Let’s check in with Virginia McGathey with the CME Group to hear more.

Chicago Wheat prices for Dec. closed the day up 10, to finish at 632 ¾. Dec. Corn up 3, to close at 419 ¼. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for Dec. were up 9 ½, to settle at 569 ¾.

Portland prices for Club Wheat were Unch, closing at 6-20. Portland Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein, for Jan. were up 8 ½, ranging from 7-21 ½ to 7-26 ½. Soft white wheat of Ordinary Protein for Jan. ended the day Unch, ranging from 5-90 to 6-30. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for Jan. were up 4 ¼, ranging from 7-12 to 7-22.

Live Cattle for Dec. were up $.10, closing at 103.57 ½. Jan. Feeder cattle were dn $.65, to finish the day at 125.55. Nov. Class III milk was up $.75, at 22.19.
