This is Matt Rice with today’s Market Line Report for Friday. Soybeans saw a big drop yesterday, which trickled over to wheat and corn futures. Scott Shellady with the CME Group shares in more detail.

Chicago Wheat prices for Dec. closed yesterday up ¾, to finish at 549 ¾. Dec. Corn dn 5, to close the day at 363 ½. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for Dec. were dn 1 ¼, to close at 483.

Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein, prices for Oct. were dn 1 ¼, ranging from 6-38 to 6-58. Soft white wheat of Ordinary Protein for Nov. ended the day Unch, ranging from 5-65 to 5-70. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for Nov. were up 1 ¾, ranging from 6-54 ¾ to 6-69 ¾.

Live Cattle for Dec. were up $1.07 ½, closing at 112.27 ½. Nov. Feeder cattle were up $.70, to finish the day at 142.35. Oct. Class III milk was dn $.30, at 18.15.
