I'm Susan Allen, from a cattle producer perspective it felt good to count a win against the EPA, Agr-Pulse reported on Friday that EPA violated the Freedom of Information Act by releasing personal information, including phone numbers and email addresses, of the owners of concentrated animal feeding operations called CAFO's . The unanimous decision by the 8th Circuit Court of Appeals is a big victory for the American Farm Bureau Federation and the National Pork Producers Council, which sued EPA three years ago after it released CAFO information to environmental groups. The decision is a vindication of the right of farm families to protect their personal information, such as their home address and GPS coordinates, their phone numbers and email addresses."

And Washington native, Cassandra Garcia is the National Junior Angus Association 2016-2017 Angus Ambassador. A junior at the University of Washington studying business administration, Garcia shares more details about her role as Angus Ambassador.

Garcia: "The role is new, I'm only the fifth Angus Ambassador so for me I want to bridge the gap between consumers and producers. As well as share my experience with producers who can't maybe make it to all the Angus events. I just want to expand knowledge and share my experience with everyone. Really represent this breed for what it is."
