Weely Cattle Review
This is Matt Rice with the Market Line Report for June 3rd. The cattle market has been slowly regaining ground as we make our way into summer. Here's Gregg Sanders to explain more on last weeks National Slaughter cattle review from the USDA.
Sanders "National Slaughter cattle review for Thursday, June 2nd 2016. On Thursday negotiated cash trading of beef type cattle was at a standstill in the southern and northern plains. In the western corn belt, trading was mostly inactive on very light demand, not enough sales for a market trend. A few carcass based steers sold at $2. This week we had 1350 head of feeder cattle sold compared to last Friday."
