The NAFB was founded in 1944 as the National Association of Radio Farm Directors. NAFB is dedicated to serving the interest of the agricultural community and creating value for its Broadcast member stations and networks. NAFB is an established liaison between farm broadcast stations and networks and the Agri-Marketing community of companies and agencies. So you good folks who listen to mine and many other farm broadcasters reports each day, realize we are trying to bring you the most up-to-date and accurate information possible so that you can be better prepared to run your agribusiness. Well I got a very nice note from Sabrina Hill, a California broadcaster who has been in the business for 20 years. She said I'm writing to let you know that I'm running for NAFB Western region vice president. She continued, we haven't had the opportunity to get to know each other so I thought I'd tell you why I want to be in that role. Here she is in person. "I met the meeting last year and there was discussion about a lack of communication with the board. Some people were really some people really were really unhappy. They didn't think that the board was communicating with the members well enough everything that was going on." So you see, even amongst radio broadcasters, the politics are the same as they are everywhere else.
