Reading an issue of Shotgun Life I was interested to see an article about Dove hunting in Argentina. Listen to this and I quote: "An important point you should understand about high-volume dove hunting in the Cordoba region of Argentina is that it ain't for crybabies. Set out to shoot 1,000, 2,000 or 3,000 doves per day or more and you will inevitably experience the pain. Cheeks swell, shoulders bruise, palms blister and related bumps and aches arise as a matter of course. Here's the tie-in. Sportsmen's Warehouse Sales Associate and frequent contributor to the show Al Strup just got back from Argentina. "It was just pretty much a dove hunt, I went over with three friends. One of them shot a black buck and the other one a javelina. I just hunted birds. Five days. A lot of birds. You can start getting creative where you want take one shot can get three birds at the same time. The hunting was fantastic. We flew into Buenos Aries. Went out to the lodge and hunted for five days. You just have to be careful. There are different lodges. The one we stayed in was adequate. Food was adequate, lodging was adequate but the hunting was fantastic. There are pardee, ducks and, of course, doves.
