The Atlantic Bluefin tuna is one of the largest and fastest fish in the world. They can reach swimming speeds of up to 43 miles per hour. On average, they measure 6.5 feet in length and weigh 550lbs, although much larger specimens are not uncommon. A man named Ken Fraser currently holds the all-tackle world record for bluefin tuna. He caught a fish that weighed 1,496 lbs. off the coast of Nova Scotia in 1979. If you want to see it, go to our web site aginfo.net. So why am I talking tuna?
