Fishing films

Josh Mills has some films that he recommends we see. “The fly fishing film to her is kicking off again just as a old man winter sets in. Some of the best short flyfishing films which will eventually be made into feature films are making their start January 24 in Denver, Colorado and making its way all around the country in just about every major city. It comes through Spokane February 3. They have some of the coolest new films coming out. Two of them look amazing to me. One is called “wild fish works”. It is about the relationship of healthy, strong salmonoid runs on the Washington and Oregon coasts and how impactful it is to the economies. Another one that looks outlandish is called Yao which is apparently Icelandic for yes. There are two guys. One is a fly fisherman for Atlantic salmon and the other guy is a surfer.
