Our regular contributor, Josh Mills, doesn't spend all of his time on the water. Sometimes he makes his way to an art gallery. "A lot of times art and the outdoors go together. In 2012, my father and a friend of mine, we drove 22 hours from Spokane up to the Skeena River system, stayed a few days in one town called Houston then stated couple of days in another town called Hazelton. I got to know a remarkable outdoor wildlife artist whose name is Leah Pipe. She does some of the best salmon, steelhead as well as indigenous art from up there in BC. One of the best ways to find her because her website is under construction, go to Facebook and type in Leah Pipe artist under your search bar. She has a gallery up in Hazelton which is a small town on the banks of the Skeena River and it is called Antler and Art. She really captures the essence of the outdoors through her medium. She has some steelhead prints that I want more than I probably should. She also ships across the world so check it out.
