Terry Buchanan Gift Bar

In search of a good knife. Terry Buchanan is a sales associate working the Gift Bar at Sportsman's Warehouse. When I asked what was a hot item in the gift bar, Terry immediately led me in the direction of the quality knives they carry, domestically made, no less. "We have a ton of knives that we carry. Piranha knives are a very good pocket knife. Their stuff is made with the top steel here in the West called S 30 V and some of it is black powder coated. Very sharp. If someone is looking for a really nice pocket knife then that is the way to go. Of course we have Buck knives. They are made up in Post Falls, Idaho. What is nice about them is that they are a forever warranty. American-made, so that is pretty sweet. Kershaw is in Portland. Another knife that is made for us is Tops knives.Tops knives Was in the movie Deliverance. We support our native knife makers by selling the knives. So, top-of-the-line steel, spring assisted, most of them are automatics. Quality wise, we felt Bench Made, Knives of Alaska, really good hunting knives. We sell Gerbers so if anybody is looking for a really nice knife with really good steel, a lot of people come here and say I don't want something out of China, I want something that is American-made.
