Choppy Day for Grain Markets

Choppy Day for Grain Markets

The March contracts of all three grains finished lower. From the floor of the CME Group, Virginia McGathey shares her observations of Tuesday's markets.

McGathey: "Today in the grain markets -- all the grains have been a little bit choppy. Right now the frigid temperature has really been feeding what's keeping the market up on corn and also on wheat. We had a little extra on exports today in wheat that is keeping the market strong. Overall the market really looks weaker on corn and wheat. It looks like it is going to start to sink and move a little bit lower."
