1-7 IAT match.com for farmers
match.com for farmers.Watching all of the bowl games and the NFL games on TV of late exposed me to an interesting phenomenon... Dating sites for farmers. It's kind of like match.com where, I have to confess, I met my loved one. It was a phenomenal experience. So I got interested in learning more about the farmer dating sites just to pass a positive story along to those of you who are tending your land out in the sticks as opposed to attending your local bar. I know that farming can be a lonely life for a single person so what a beautiful idea to get people together on the Internet. Well I went to one site called farmerdatingservice.com because I wanted to contact somebody in an official capacity to do a positive story. Here's where it gets a little seamy. There are no one 800 numbers so I actually had to fill out a profile. Bare in mind, the banner in the front says absolutely free. Well I filled out a little profile along with username and password and it took me to the next page where the site said choose your package. Something like $13.99 per month for four months minimum and other packages that were more expensive. Of course they wanted your credit card number and email address. Then there was a little chat window where you could theoretically talk with someone so I typed out my interest in talking to a person of authority. My inquiry was rejected and I was sent back to the page where I had to pay. I don't want to be cynical, but if you're looking for love in all the right places be aware that all the right places involve a credit card and probably millions of email solicitations in the future. If you see me wandering around looking for a date on farmers dating service.com, ignore it. I'm happy with my match.com relationship which, by the way, also cost me $13.99 per month when I first got set up.
